HAUNTED VAMPIRES
Sad to hear of Pocahaunted calling it a day after five years and a ton of releases. Their final 7inch ends the journey with a sweet amalgamation of their latter-day “outsider funkadelic” sound and the ecstatic bliss-outs they were initially known for.
Not one to hang about, Amanda Brown - founder of Pocahaunted and Not Not Fun - has followed up her awesome tripped-out gothic sounding collaboration with Zola Jesus by teaming up with Matrix Metals for some skewed R&B jams. Here’s a promo for the LP.
